My Writing Experience So Far
How I feel about writing and my experience so far as one.
When I first started
When I first started writing I was in 5th grade, and I hated it mainly due to it being schoolwork. Ounce I hit high school and quarantine I found that I loved writing even though I say that I am not good at it which I am probably correct, but I have no way of telling.
I Wrote my first story it was about 10 chapters with about each chapter being between 3 to 5 pages do to it being on a google doc and I think double spaced so it's probably technically longer than what it was, but this story got me into writing because I loved making this world of mine.
About my first story
My first story was about a 3 main characters 2 male 1 female all around 20 years old or so and They ended up in an apocalyptic situation where everyone wanted to kill everyone after the government decided to bomb their own country. So, after a while the three and some others found refuge in a nearby town next to a river and forest with an old church that they used as their main shelter and a watch tower. One day one of the male main characters and several other people who went to go get water at the river were now missing. Later to be found in an underground secret facility where they were being turned into human weapons with an experimental drug made by the government, soon there was an accident and one of the monsters now got loose and killed everyone. Thats all the detail I will go into for now on that story.
When I got too Medium
when I got too Medium, I didn’t know what I should write about or what you guys would like to read so I just started writing things that I feel and thing I like to talk about I don’t care if people view or read my stuff all I know is I need to write for my personal sake so I can express what's inside Medium gave me a place to do that.
Yes, I will do some research and make articles based on those but I'm researching things I like to know about and there for its fun. I enjoy it a lot and I hope others write can read this and write like I do with the same joy.
We need to write so we can fill the world with our voices for all to hear for some to agree for some to disagree but that doesn’t matter just write on and let your soul out as you write away.
NOW
I write all the time even if it is not on medium, it might be just a few words that are on my mind on a sticky note or a full-on short story that I put my heart into.
Writing also makes me tired though so it is kind of hard for me to write every day because my mental exhaustion is so great, I have always been like this with every project I work on I get very tired after.
